Security Council

WELCOME NOTE BY SC

I quote “The world will not evolve past its current state of crisis by using the same thinking that created the

situation- Albert Einstein” I unquote.

A very warm good morning to the chief guest, invitees, dignitaries, academic council members, teachers,

heads, co-heads and delegates of all committees.

Security Council has been one of the most important committee of the United Nations. The presidency of

the council is held by one country for one month each. Currently the country holding presidency is the

Russian Federation. Our committee, the United Nations Security Council focuses on discussing issues

such as piracy, terrorism, peace and security, protection of civilians and many more. The Security Council

consists of 15 member countries out of which five are permanent members and ten are non-permanent

members.

This year the Security Council will be discussing two major crises. The first one related to the peace and

security of Central African Region . This involves a group of militants trying to take over the

government. This group of militants has also kidnapped and made a lot of damage to the region and the

citizens. Since Africa is one of the least developed countries it makes it even harder for it to get the

situation into control.

The second topic that will be discussed in the committee is the increase in cyber threat due to the increase

in the online users during the pandemic. The pandemic has affected the whole world in one or the other

way. Due to the pandemic a large number of the world’s population is dependent on the online sources

which increase the number of users. This causes an increase in cybercrime as well as cyber threat.

We are looking forward for mind blowing solutions from the delegates and active participation. We believe

that all the delegates under us are capable of making all the debates heated and fruitful with the best

insights. Wishing all the delegates the very best from all of us for the coming productive days.

DAY 1

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.

Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.

Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.

Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.

Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
